Thought we would head to bribie bridge last night.

And sure enough ended up getting some good size jew from 56cm and the biggest was 115cm.

All fell to S/P's. Was good fun catching these awsome fish from a land based location. The night started slow with a couple of smaller ones then picked up and ended up getting some larger models and a 68cm flathead aswell.

Hmm.. wondering what kind of plastics (seems like glow in the dark kinds) were you using? what weight/size Jig head was it attached to?

I got most of them on a WAVE 4 inch tiki-kickin shrimp in salt and pepper or just plain white

I'm still learning about SPs, wondering for SP technique, would you strike immediately? or just wait for a few seconds before striking when you felt a bite from the fish?

I found when these fish hit the plastic just strike.

Most of the time these fish hit the plastic pretty hard you dont have to worry about short striking them
