Got two 3-tooth jew this afternoon, as well as 3 blue salmon all in the low 40's; one jew and one salmon came home with me for dinner (note blue salmon legal size is 40cm and NOT 60cm like king salmon). Heres some photos of this weird looking jew species

Have chased DPI about this a while ago, after an extreme amount of getting the runaround, was finally informed they fall under the same banner as silver jew and river perch- no size or bag limits. The scaley jew has a 45cm limit, but these seem to be very uncommon on the east coast and more a gulf fish. Its funny because around Cairns the scaley jew is known as a silver jew, and the silver jew is known as a little jew.

It's amazing the different names for fish from places not far away.

When I first moved to Rocky I heard people talking about King... they were talking about Threadies (king threadfin salmon) and they were calling nannygai 'red Jew' and a few other little oddities I can't remember.
