Savage jabiru reviews???

Hi guys,

Just wondering what the savage jabiru are ment to be like? Was looking at the 435 side console but havnt heard much about what there like!!!!

Flat water only. If you planned on fishing anywhere it could get choppy i would go for a V style hull.

Ok, most of my fishing is done in dams with occasional estuary fishing on holidays

We had a Savage Jabiru for over 15 years, 435 tiller steer. Started out with a 30hp then upgraded to a 40hp, fully decked with casting platform, bow mount, twin batteries and 60 litre fuel tank, capabe of doing 23kts. Very stable boat, got into skinny creeks and was made for the annual trip to Hinchinbrook and fishing the Sandy straits. Comfortable, but hated chop, any chop, many a wet trip home if the wind was wrong. Even had a wet messy run back to the ramp once at Monduran. Split the seem weld twice due to the weight and a rough ride home. Welded up and lasted a few more years. Not much more I can say apart from it went places and we caught fish out of it, took a battering and got us home.
