Come celebrate this year's Father's Day on the Bremer River in Ipswich by entering Ipswich's very first Father's Day Fishing Fest! We've got some fantastic prizes lined up thank to great sponsors and partners, a free bbq and some entertainment to keep the kids happy. This is a catch-photo-release event designed to promote the river as a great location for your recreational activities and the importance to keep our riverways healthy.

How come you used an American bass for the picture?

Sadly enough due to the poor promotional material available to us at the time. We are now using it as a 'can you see the problem' game Hopefull this year's event will provide us with heaps of great pictures to be used to promote next year's event.
