Help with new floor in tinne

Is with a cheap option than marine ply for fllors in tinne

Dont use marine ply use construction ply and use a water procteor thing and paint it with that then put the carpet down, Or use checkerplate flooring $$$

I used form ply in mine it's cheaper than marine ply and still has water proof glue I was told

Yeh construction ply, form ply its practically the same isnt it?

Yes form ply is the same as structural ply but it has a smooth finnish on it already to go, just coat the edges with something which I didn't do because I'm lazy, it will probably outlast the rest of boat and me anyway

marine ply and construction ply share the same glue marine ply has 2 face sides construction ply has 1 and its lower grade form ply is different it has a very high grade face on 1 side and a high grade on the other and is bonded using a resin based glue ie fiberglass this means form ply can be hard to paint but is tough as nails its good to price around and buy the right stuff for the job you can also apply resin after the fact to make the wood last longer
