Another disappointing day. Got a heap of small redclaw out of my pots but only 20 shrimp. I decided to leave my 2 deckies use shrimp whilst I used cooked redclaw flesh for bait. ( Not allowed to use live or dead redclaw for bait but ok if it is cooked) We only managed 3 bass . I gave up counting the forkies at 30. The local magpies had a great squabble and feed on the left over redclaw when I got home.

Nice try Ray. At least you gave the magpies a feed! Lol.

Hopefully there are more bass chewing next time.

Fingers crossed the bass fishing picks up soon for you Ray - at least by being out there you'll be one of the first to know when it does. Those maggies will be loving you at the moment ..... .  Interesting the rule about the redclaw. I can understand the 'not live' rule as they could get off the hook and continue living in the dam but the 'not dead' rule has me stumped?
