ROUND 5  results…

THURSDAY MARCH 30

Roosters 28  vs  20 Eels

Well fancy that… the chooks got tired of pecking on smoked eels, and let a couple of late tries go through….

FRIDAY MARCH 31

Raiders 12  vs  53 Panthers
Wighton, out with a 2 game suspension, was not the difference…..

Rabbitohs 10  vs  18 Storm
hmmmm… BOM failed to issue a SEVERE STORM WARNING for Accor Stadium, on Friday…
then again, Looney Tunes did not advise that the Bunnies were totally Elmer Fudded from last week’s game….

SATURDAY APRIL 1

Sea Eagles 32  vs  32 Knights
fancy that…..

Dragons 38  vs  12 Dolphins
obviously, it was the Dragon’s day…. they don’t get too many of them… just saying

Broncos 46  vs  12 Wests Tigers
1  v  17......... 5/0 – 0/5

SUNDAY APRIL 2

Sharks 30  vs  32 Warriors

NEWS FLASH… 17 sharks drowned, at  PointsBet Stadium, by a 2nd half  Warriors tidal surge…
so, are the 2023 Warriors the real deal (barring injuries)????

 Bulldogs 15  vs  14 Cowboys
well, there you go… both teams went up and down, and all around… finally, the Doggies got the Cadbury blocks

Bye: Titans

Gad's round 6 certainty... Sportsbet had the Cowboys clear favourites at $1.39 with the Dolphins at $3.00, this morning... I'm not that sure the Cowboys are a certainty, today's Dolphins team list looks a fairly NRL hardened and balanced outfit.....

ROUND 8  results…

THURSDAY APRIL 20

Rabbitohs 20  vs  18 Panthers
well, that changed the main ingredient in the recipe … friccasee’d cat.

FRIDAY APRIL 21

Eels 16  vs  26 Broncos

The tropical down pours did not help the suffocating Eels

SATURDAY APRIL 22

Bulldogs 20  vs  33 Sharks
The injury hit Doggies are doing it as best they…

Cowboys 18  vs  16 Knights
Now that ‘The Hammer’ is no longer there to keep him honest, Drinkwater shows he can still make a difference to an outcme…

SUNDAY APRIL 23

Dolphins 28  vs  26 Titans
Well, fancy that! The Dolphins are magicians… they can turn Titans into concrete garden Gnomes.

Wests Tigers 16  vs  22 Sea Eagles
That was a brave, committed, and a little unlucky, Tigers performance…
Hey e’cat, hold your head up and smile, while pausing to think of the Titan’s fans…

TUESDAY APRIL 25

Roosters 27  vs  26 Dragons
with the going down of the sun, at 26 - 26 all the momentum with them, up against 12 for 10 of the remaining 17 minutes, the Dragons slew themselves…

Storm 30  vs  22 Warriors

IMO, this traditional ANZAC Day round match up, should be played in NZ every 2nd year

Bye: Raiders

Agree. Seems a little unfair doesn't it...

Do you reckon the Warriors might get a fair share of the decisions if the game was in NZ. They certainly copped a few poor decisions yesterday. I tipped Storm but thought the Warriors deserved the win. When was the last time we saw the kicker penalised for crabbing an extra step or two on the goal line drop out? Rubbish.

I think he went a bit too far to let it go, Mr Bonus Points man. Take that, Kelvin. haha
