G'day fellow fisho's. Finally located in Brissy. Got a house in the Murrumba Downs area and am looking for some local north side fishing locations.

Was told about Deep Water Bend and gave it a go, two small bream after 4 h of fishing. Would like to get into some whiting and flatties if possible.

Have talked the wife into a boat about mid year. will be willing to take out some local fisho's that know the area, more to follow on that.

Mate its only a shoty drive to Bribie from there i think. This opens up great estuary and beach fishing options. Also its worth checking out the fresh. You have Baroon Pocket Dam (my favourite) and Ewen Maddock within reasonable distance.

you are pretty close to northpine dam also, plenty of post on here about the bass etc in there.

Cabbage tree creek at Sandgate holds some fish too.
