landbased bay fishing

hey guys does anyone know of any good land based spots in moreton bay? im thinking of trying a few different places on the next holidays im Prety keen to flick some plastics at wellington point maybe vicki point.

does anyone know of any other good spots?

Im desperate to try wellington point out witrh SP's (when i get my new set up).

Thew jetty for bream and tailor. But also that bar of sand that goes all the way to is it bird island? At low tide you basically have hundreds of meters on each side of this finger of sand. This finger is covered in soldier crabs etc so there must be plenty of activity there. Also you have the wello reefs a mere 100 meters away tops, so you could get squire there at night i have no doubt.

its king island, and yeah ive heard theres pinkies there off the jetty, we will have to team up and go down there for a day.

id prefer to stay off the jetty becose its so packed and fished out alot of the time... though its good for sharks when you have your line out for 100's of m's... and sand bank is gud forme never a shortages of flatties on sps ther

nah mate its down cleveland way down near redland bay. its like cleaveland point, wellow point, vicky point.

Troy its near Cleveland.

A great place sourrounded by rocky reefs.

As well as sharks its home to allt eh quality fish the bay has to offer.

Squire, Tailor etc etc.

There have even been long tail tuna caught there.

And obviously some decent sharks.

yeah in the canals ive heard stories of pet dogs being taken. and there are some nice fish species in there like jacks. we got some ncie fish off the groins on the beachat raby bay.
