queensland Bay blown out again

I am trying to plan a trip out into the bay for some trolling and lure work, maybe even some bait soaking but Sat forecast says 15-20 with a 30 knot change. Sunday looks a little better but still lumpy so I suppose I will be going fresh again.

I am thinking of a yakking the middle part of the Albert, somewhere around Cedar Creek. Where ever I go I gotta get some fish, the 2 catties last week just didn’t cut it after the paddle thrill wore off.

Anyone want to tag along?

id love to brian but bella turns 7 this weekend and were having a pool party if i went fishing it would have to be a one way trip ie go and dont come back lol:laugh:

Brian, yak the bay! You know you want to! Besides, remember that day we went out, bit rough, with a yakker going hard? Could be you mate! Hooking into those bigguns in a yak!

Anyway, The bay should be fairly calm by the weekend, if the sunny coast forecast is anything to go by (which probably isn't lol)

a beautiful 80cm snapper caught today by an akff member less than 1klm off redcliff, some great fish around at the moment

Nice. Now that you mention it Lee, around redcliffe might be a good location for Brian to hit up in the kayak while he gets use to kayak fishing:)
