I'll be hitting some creeks off the Brissie river for a few hours tomorrow morning. Most likely be a Jindalee ramp at 445am.

Hoping to hit some creeks ive googl mapped. Bream, flattie and hopefully cod.

Mate, good luck but I reckon you'll have more luck further towards the mouth. That far upstream you might struggle with all the fresh.

yeah true dan, to be honest its more of an explore day. Ive only managed to get out on the yak once since i bought, so i figure i'll explore whats around and if i get a fish, bonus!

lol, too be honest man im not going for long enough to bother with shark gear. Also, 4 hrs isnt worth the stink of bait!:laugh:

At the mouth there an awesome sandbank, so if lucky might be able to entice some flatties.

Ill be trying out all the hard body strike lures ive purchased, so should be good fun anyway

The only time iver ever kayaked was around there . Didnt catch anything but i was more just learning and paddling, that creek opp the boat ramp is a cool little creek though, plenty of bream before all this rain, dont know about now but i got 5 of them in a boat casting at high tide right under the mangroves on the downstream side of the mouth . I would like to flick a few softies under and around there one day..
