Have seen this place a few times and want to know if you are allowed to fish there, or if you have what species are available and lastly can you yak there.

schiezer cant get the map to show (if anyone can tell me how can they please pm me) if you punch tingalpa reservoir into google maps it will show you where im talking about.

Tingalpa creek holds a couple of jacks, jew, tarpon ect but mainly bream catties flatties and cod

yeah thinking of yakking along there launching from ransome near the bridge.

ive driven past it on the Mt gravatt/capalaba rd side and pretty sure ive seen signs stating no fishing private property. but yeah never tried myself looks ok on some parts

No fishing in the lake mate but the creek underneath 200 metres from the dam wall is ok to fish

There is spangle perch and yellas in there I heard

i have been in there i got one big spangle on a lure but that was years ago

I may be wrong but i think i've seen no-fishing signs around there. If you find out that i'm wrong please let us know as it looks like a nice dam to have a cast in.

I've worked on houses that back onto that lake and the kids catch all manner of fish in there. Nothing big, but they are just kids messing around.

And yes it is off limits at all times.

Should be a few bass and tilapia downstream as the dam has overflowed.

DPI did an electrofish in the dam a few years back mostly tilapia and forkies with bass ,tandanus and spangleds.
