Cheap sx40's

BCF has got a special on sx40's it is 2 for $25, dad went down on Sunday and got another six to add to our colection. They had all or most colours at Lawnton shop sale ends 27/04/08

No one pic is at the gold coast another was at the pine river before school and the flattie was in the brissie river the bottom pic of me with the bream is very early in the morning and I dont loook my best all fishing trips that the pics are from I didnt post a report for.

I wonder if any of the smaller tackle stores will price match. I'm trying to avoid BCF after what happened to tackleworld. At that price though I might have to make an exception.

I was down at BCF the other day and overheard one of the salesmen talking about a lure sale they were planning thanks to old Tackleworld stock.

What sx40 pattern do you recomend,at $25 for 2 i will get some,i usually buy rapala.Are they only good for bream.

Very good for Flathead as well:) and Cod and Jack's will have no hesitation in smashing them either:)

All of these colours have been sucessful for us: 301, 306, 307, 338, 343, 344. But 307 and 338 seem to be the most consistent:)

Well, you've had success on it, but I've only got two fish on it from many attempts:side: It probably works better in clearer water at places like Brunswick:)

Yeah, it cleans up down there. At one stage I was catching 15-30 fish an hour on them :laugh: It was crazy:woohoo:

The only places I've used them have been the Brisbane River and Schultz. So yeah, doesn't get much browner than that:silly:

you're probably right. I use them mostly in clear but tea coloured water.

That wouldnt happen and i think you'd be doing them worse buy giving them such little if any profit...

Yeah mate, good colour for murky water. Mine are all mostly red though, not orange.
