queensland Bribie Island

Going to bribie island tommorow . We are going to hire one of those little tinnies . Can anyone give me some tips, info on the fishing there, would be greatly appreciated...

yep the weather is going to be shiezer so find a sheltered area!

maybe try the mouth of ningi creek..you will see a yellow cross and some stakes in a line...fish out side those stakes and ya a chance of some flattys for sure...and not sure if they are still in the area but they do get parrot there too

kriso look at the revised forecast, seabreeze is saying 10-15 , not that bad I'd go out yakking out of bribie in it.

Was blowing straight up the passage today, with heaps if tinny's anchored up under the bridge, you'll be ok tomorrow.

try heading up the left of shag Island, there are a couple of rocky bits and a drop-off or two with exploring.

I have hired those boats a few times. If you have crab pots, drop them on the bank on the mainland side, straight across from the boat hire. Anyhere from he bridge up to the boat harbor. There are plenty of sandies

Under the bridge with mullet flesh early for squire... not sure if they are there at the moment

There is a reef somewhere out on the middle, near the boat ramp. I dont have exact location but drifting from near the island back toward the bridge has produced parrot and squire.

Got myself a nice snapper...41cm..and about 30 undersize ones..also got a flathead...heaps of grinners grrr....and a few others i'm not sure what they were , but i'll post pics later when i download pics ....Thanks for the info guys...had a great day . weather was perfect.
