the pot of gold at the end of the Rainbow, plenty of other better spots to fish Mud. Thanks for the link but thats all Mud needs, more flogging from irresponsible fishermen

Sounds like you havenn't taken a look at it CS the hole is actually closer to Moerton. Totaly agree there is a lot more areas to fish but it is a great starting ppoint for newbies and shows some interesting structure in other areas I didn't know existed after pottering around the bay for most of my life.

Like any other spot x there will still be a lot of local knowledge required for it to produce. Such as tide, moon phase, season, target species. bait etc.

Passed it twice on the weekend, no one fishing it.

You will find it is marked on most GPS charts

Yes, closer to Moreton. It has been refered to Mud Is Sink Hole on other forums

Good point Ray - you still gotta put in your time and pay attention to things even if you are fishing in a bath tub.

I have to say when I saw it the other night on tv, my first thought was how many local fisho's are going to be pissed that their "secret spot" was no longer a big secret.

I judt hope it doesn't cop a flogging like other areas,
