I'm going fishing/camping to coolmunda dam in the first week of may...anyone got some tips?...interested in coming?

Towards the bottom end of where you can camp there is a hole worth exploring. It's similar to the "Mud Island Sinkhole":P It's not very large but it drops from 2 metres to 5 metres. I can only give clues sorry, as it's a bit hard unless you're there. It's probably 50-100 metres from the shore (depending where the shore is)

Coolmunda has been producing some quality cod in recent weeks.

Try heading due east from the boat ramp until you find the creek channel. Follow the channel back to the north towards where Macintyre Brook enters the lake. Work the edges of the creek channel where they are at a fishable depth. Depends on the water level in the lake. Head away from the wall until the depth along the shoulder of the creek is right for your lures.

Try 80mm Boomerangs with medium bibs in yellow tiger and hot tiger.
