queensland Brisbane River Night Session 26-04-08

Well last night Ash, George and I hit up the river in search of, well whatever really.

And whatever we got!

This was the largest variety of fish I have caught in the river in one session.

Species included:

Threadfin

Jew

Bream

Catfish

Pike Eel

Squire

Flathead

Stone Fish

Toadfish

Shovel Nose Ray

Sadly, with the exception of half a dozen bream and two flathead, everything was undersized.

Still an awesome session though with the river glassing out right on dusk creating fantastic fishing conditions.

Thanks for Ash and George for the session. Looking forward to exploring a few more of those spots in detail next time.

This bream is not hooked. He got tangled up.

That was a pretty fun night indeed. Thanks to both Angus and george coming out, had a blast.

Man it got choppy the further out we got.
