ive noticed alot of people on this site talking about newstead lol, am just having a look at it on google earth and am just wondering where most of yous fish, i noticed theres a jetty looking thing on the corner there?? im keen as to try it out, will try and go there thursday arvo/ night!!

A few people fish off that pontoon, and others fish off the boardwalk about 100m upstream. It isn't very large, especially when using lures, so there aren't too many different spots to fish from. But the pontoon is usually packed with loads of bait fisho's, so it's a bit hard to get a spot there, especially at night.

there are severl parts to it, there is the pontoon and there is the walkway, with the walkway there are 2 parts one that is high up prolly about 2-4mtr mark and the rocky ledge bit. its not a bad place to go and have some fun on bream

I would not say that "most of us fish there". In fact very few do. It has just been fishing well of late so a few reports have been added inn a short time.

This seems to be the trend while a spot is "running hot".

Take North Pine and Schultz for example.

Funny thing is, not due to lack of fish, but these location go quiet on the report front as fast as they become famous.
