Looking at a place on Tally Creek down the Coast, it will free up some $$$$ and a boat this big wont be needed down there plus its too nice to be dragging Crabs pots in over the side

Nice looking boat and i have heard they are a very soft ride

It handles the cop well, dry ride and IMO the Flared bow makes a huge difference at low speeds in heavy seas

originally a bluefin tomcat 475 was probably the best contender, but still not 100% sure and this boat looks like itd do what we want.

how do you find casting from the front section of the boat leighton?

This one has a pod whereas a tomcat doesnt so this would probably be better in a following sea offshore.

leighton, how shallow can this baby go with the leccy? as well the idea of the TomCat was that on good days we could go out to 9 mile and out in the bay but on bad days we could go up the creeks flickign for bream.

Hey Fishman, I will get a pic of the deck layout for you.

I to looked at the BlueFins, reason I went for the Quintrex was the Pod like Shrimpo said, also the Flared Bow and I just felt the Quintrex was finished of nicer.

Glove box, moulded rod holders, deck lights etc

I personally dont cast from up the front, I prefer to fish in the middle of the boat keeping an eye on the sounder and GPS.

If I have a mate with me they either fish from the front or at the back with me.

The front has a lounge, it would only be a matter of taking out the seats and making a timber casting platform and a cheap sounder up there and you're away

The boat with the motor up draws less water than the electric at full extension....:blush: sorry Peel Reef and its a 55" Shaft I think

Its the exaxt same layout as the link, only difference I can see is mine has a lounge either side if the motor ( never been in boat ) and a Cover for the Tittie Bar up front
