queensland Fig Tree Pocket yaking 31/5/08

Took the yak out at Fig Tree Pocket for a couple of hours and caught 5 bream all aroung 25cm but one of them had a sick looking soar on it.

Nice one man, was it lures or bait, and what type?. what kinda structure did you pull them off, i thought the river would of been abit shut down after the rain , seems like i might be wrong.

Bait unweighted peeled prawns, there is a deep hole and then it goes onto a mud bank just on the edge of the mud bank is where the Bream were

nice work, i was going to take the yak outday but didnt because of the rain but after bout 11am there was no more rain.

That bream is just trying his hardest to look un-appetising so the sharks leave him alone I reckon.
