No doubt you have heard enough of NPD to wet your appetite so I'll make this short. Fri arvo was a bit slow but still managed to land a few, best was 2 40cm models others were a bit smaller. These were on s/baits of various colours rolled slow back to the bank.

Sat arvo started with a light rod to try some SPs only had 6lb crystal fireline on and soon found out no good for some of the monsters in there. I was bricked 1st cast SO I rerigged with SP again and was bricked again. Soon as you apply any pressure to lift them over the grass you are in trouble.

So I changed to my heavier rig and had no trouble landing a few, best bass for the session being a 53.5cm special, you can see the lure that done the damage still in the bass's mouth. By the other reports there are a few little schools of bass getting about you have just got to be lucky to put yourself right in front of them.

What is your normal artillery for the dam Dino, I was using 4 lb fireline yesterday and got bricked to many times for my likeing (well my wallets liking anyway), will try today with 8lb fireline I think

Aaron I fish with a 6 to 10lb spin rod with 10lb pink fireline and 14lb nitlon leader. I only use 2 diff knots,uni to uni to join leader and blood knot to attache lures or hooks, I have found no need to elaborate on this.
