I bought a 2.1m 6-8kg spin stick from the got one at carseldine last year. At around $100 bucks i thought it was a steal going on looks alone. I have teamed it up with a 4000 size shimano Stradic with 12lb platy braid and use it for everything from plastics out in the bay (have tried slugs for speedsters but no hookup) to soaking a bait for whiting. I love it, heaps of grunt down low and nice and sensitive. I have caught some decent fish on it with best being a 56cm snapper or 78cm flatty whichever you think is better.

I reckon they just look cool
