Got them for $5 each delivered, Anyone used them before?, Will most likely change the hooks depending on their quality.

Yes they could be alright be I don't think they will swim properly. But with a price like that you may aswell try it.

those shallow running el cheapo's usually go well as you generally put all the action in the lure yourself as your watching working the lure to suit what you can see.

My best shallow runner was a dollar job from the local "king kong" el cheapo at Burpengary. Gee I caught some fish on top of week beds with it!

Lost it at Lake Gregory last year, sad day, no more in the shop when I went back!

reminds me of a little lure I've got. I think it may be a rapala. Never taken it out of the box though. I would imagine when using a lure that small, that you would use a light leader, and a loop knot to get a decent action.
