this morning myself and rocket met up to fish the rock wall at scarbrough in search of a entry for FOTM...the talior were there but no real winners:(

the size was better than the other day and we put it down to the water being a bit more stirred up....we also checked out scotts point but the water there was sooo clear!..ther was no life exept a small sea turtle cruising around....

was great to catch up again rocket and was fun pullin in all those little talior on slugs..and a double hook up was pretty cool;)

Just wondering, whats the retrieval method when using slugs for tailor? is it just a constant retrieve or a retrieve,drop,retrieve,drop etc method?? Never tried it but keen to.

i like the 3 quick winds and then drop then 2 quick winds then drop and so on...but today we were getting them that way and just a steady retrieve

Yes Loz, it was windy again today (must be Jim's fault I reckon!)

Good fun on those little tackers, they must have been cruising up and down the shallows as we would get a run of hookups followed by nothing and then back into it.

Some of them were coming in with bite marks and assorted scrapes, but we couldn't tempt the bigger ones.

Thanks for the company Jim, FOTM is just around the corner;)
