queensland bream session

hey all,

not really worth a report,but anyways hit up toowong again ended up with a few rats n one high 20's possibly 30.only got one on a sx40 the rest were on a gulp worm camo.also got absoloutly smoked under the same pontoon as last time,most likly a good cod,will definatly be heading back soon with the jack gear.

cheers fellas,i started off throwing around 2inch shrimps,bass minnows n bulky hawgs for not even a touch:dry: i think the camo worms r now my go to plastic:laugh:

Hey brisfisher i too have never tried those gulp worms so i was just wondering do you cut them down to size and if so how big do you leave them:)

cheers rocket n flattie catcher,mack attack i usually cut em in half (bout 3inch's)any larger n i start to miss a few fish,any smaller n they dont have much tail action.hope this helps:)

funny how the river bream like those worms, when i doubt theres any sandworms in the river

sometimes the bream like them a little longer .. ive found that when the bream are getting gunshy during a session a change to the longer model will sometimes do the trick. i just snip 25 mm or so off the front. dont know why it works but has done in the past.. very subtle movements seem to work also ..
