Q. Design and size of Tinny to buy for my Use

Hey there im new to the whole boating side of things,

just was to ask a couple of question to help me with buying the right tinny

Use for boat just fishing in the rivers and heading to stradbroke from cleveland point

Would a 4.5m Tinny Front steer, 50hp motor be adequete to do the job?

i dont want to jump in a buy a tinny and find out i cant do what i want to do with it =)

1. is it possibke to go from cleveland point to north stradbroke in a 4.5m tinny with a 40/50hp motor?

1. I was told about 4.5m+ anything less is to small? will be carrying my self and one other only

2. 40/50 hp engine providing on rating on tinny

3. Front steer

4. Hull design not sure?

any addition advise would be fantastic thank you for your help

Yes on a good day you could, What do you mean by hull design unsure?

50hp should be adequate on a 4.5metre boat but if the Builders plate and the budget allows you to go higher then i would.

was just curious if a deep hull would be required?

or standard wall size

Well if you buy a boat with a windscreen (runabout) They are a Deep V Hull which is much better for the bay.
