Jacobs well to the Pin today.

Went to help old mate do some trailer repairs today, turns out we did'nt have the right gear.

So we slipped the boat in and paid some other bloke to do it.

Fished all the usual spots stock yards, power lines, slipping sands, kalinga, mouth of swan.

Not much action again.

Tried multible lures, and went back to the dark side for an hour or two and tried some prawns and mullet strips, but to no avail.

Couple of breambos for me all under sized, and 3 for old mate, 2 unders 1 just legal.

Still, nice day to be on the blue stuff.

all good. Nice to be out. Apart from offshore which seems to be firing, its pretty quiet.. going to hunt around for a thready or two later tonight. Spoke to one of the fishing monthly pros this morning. got two at the mouth early yesterday. both +1 meter.

I've been down the Pin the last few weeks and its been the same kinda story...a few small breambos and im always finding the baby flatties on the plastics :S

I find it fishes so much better in winter...bring on the cooler weather

Yea havent tried that yet. It's usually when im across the flats chasing bream with 2" shrimp that they always climb on

yeah my mates went to the pin on monday arvo with no luck too. fishing been kind of dead for me this last week

I find that the more I move around at the pin the less I bring home, but thats just my bad luck I think My mate spent fri nite and all saturday for only a under size jew 45cm and a 38cm cod. Just befor xmas I was catching good squire in a metre of water when fishing for whiting and flatties. It's a funny old place the pin.

Yeah it is a wierd place, we normaly do pretty well near swan bay and near the huts, but the last 2 or 3 times we've got bugger all, but thats fishing.
