Hi I was wondering what category Stingrays fall into in the comp

Looking at the results for day two, stingrays are highlighted in blue. Thats the same colour as squire, flathead, whiting , moses perch etc. So my guess is that their in the Best Miscellaneous Fish category.

But I don't know for sure.

soo my team in the comp caught that stingray which was 16kg I think soo who won? Cause we didn't.

The category was for \"Best Misc\" as judged by the event organisers, it didn't go on weight.

At least you caught something decent mate, my team put in some big hours for little reward:silly: We had a good time though:cheer:

Thats correct.

The Misc category was judged based on a combination of factors with quality of species being the dominent factor.

Congratulations on the Ray however. I believe it actually went 16.78 Kg with would have provided you with a good fight!

Of course there will be another Brisbane River Classic at the end of next year. But i have a few plans over the year im hoping to organise as well. For example a North Pine BBQ and fishing day. But more on that later.

yes that sounds good, gotta finish paying for the petrol powered one before i go looking for an electric powered unit.
