Looks like hot bite periods will be Friday till Monday and saturday till monday

But dont worry we will send plenty of photos.

Hers is Foxies latest report.

15/11/09

in hard bodies smaller lures like the small B52 and the Cult Obsession are working well.

WTF I have stocked up on big lures, arrrrr and the frustration begins, last minute run to the tackle store is on the cards.

Trollers are also catching a few around the points, 3-5 metre lures are producing the best results.

Cheers

Ray

Thanks Feral, I'll sort out costs from that. Just one thing, what's a clawhammer?

Its a reformed Geologist mate, but dont worry, this ones trained in the social necessities - knows how to open a beer and pass it over.

Also I promise to make him park his Rav4 in front of next doors house!

Dunno about that Brian, if the Camry wouldn't pull my boat that first year we went after rain, the Rav4 wouldn't have a hope of pulling Rays on a dry day! ;)

Definitely Bringing the yak, so pack yours Brian, I'll have my trailer which is good for 4 yaks fairly easily, so we can just push the lot in and out of the shed, no worries about stuffing around securing yaks and gear.

Will remind me of the early days down the pin but instaed of a string of dingys I will be towing a string of yaks.

Do hobies have tow points ? I heard of a rav 4 being used as a wedding car and someone tied an old boot to it and pulled the rse end out of it.

Last day at work today for me, can't wait to get the last few things off my desk and onto someone elses. I'll also sort the $$ out for the house because when I leave work the brain will only be thinking fishing beer and food. Someone please remind me not to run out of petrol.

As to delivery time of me to Gin Gin, I might just have to go up a day early to test the boat and suss out the tackle store. Not sure where I'll stay but don't really care either.

I promise I wont go fishing and find all the hot spots before you guys get there. If I happen to be out testing the boat and somehow a lure falls over the side of the boat then accidently hooks a barra I'll be sure to tell you all about it. I might even stay in the boat for the night and test out my night vision.

Good on ya Brian, it wouldn't be a barra trip without you there a day or two early rough'n it thrashin the water with lures!

Dont forget the big rest area between Gin Gin and the Dam turn off, you should be able to get a shower if you need one. Camp there two if you want, but I'd rather be on the water myself!

I've got two more days of getting flogged yet, cant wait to get outta the place. But I've got a fishin comp and a christmas party to go to before I can get there. Will have car running in the driveway monday morning waiting for the missus to get home from Night shift, then I'm outta here!

Oh yeah - BUY PETROL!

Foxies latest report.

18/11/19

Monduran still is producing the goods with metre plus barra being caught every day.

The bottom end of the Lake are still the most productive areas, fishing in A and Bird Bay around the shallows

Most anglers are fishing early morning and late afternoon into the night as the day time temps have been in the mid to high 30’s and a mid day camp is the go.

Soft plastics and shallow diving hard bodies have been the go for the casters.

Some good fish have also been caught on the troll in the main basin and around white rock by towing three to 5 metre diving lures.

Cheers Foxie

Cheers

Ray

Well I finsihed work this afternoon, but decided to top up the bank account with 11 hours of overtime sitting on the motorway at roadworks (where I am typing this from).

Last words from the guy who won the 2008 Police Games for fishing was 'When the wind gets up, get to the bank it is blowing on to'. Apparently something to do with the movement of the warm water and hopefully the fish too!

Well Brians mobile must be broken as i havent got any barra photos yet.

I am all packed and ready to head off around 6ish in morning.

12 bottles soda squash.

3 blocks of cans.

around 5kg of frozen redclaw tails.

That is all the sustanance I am taking. Hope we get a barra or I may be reduced to eating forkies or roadkill.

Cheers
