hello all,

been a while since i posted anything cos i havent gone fishing

was fishing at a friend's plc in one of the canals that runs behinds the houses.

we took a small inflatable and rowed out to the bridge and fished with live yabbies.

caught some smallish bream before i got monstered by this bream. went roughly about 33- 34 to the tail so that's my PB! gave a pretty decent fight on 4lb line too. not long after, 2 whiting followed into the bag as well. and friend's line got stripped by something big. upon reeling back the line got tangled on the tip and snsnapped off.

just as we were about to row back to the bank, my friend's line got absoutely smashed by another monster. this time the fight was on and we didn't have a net to bring it in so i had to row the inflatable back while he fought the fish. got someone to land the fish at the bank and it was a horse of a jack! took a pic using my mobile phone and boy.. did it look healthy!..big red!

attached are the pics of the bream and whiting.
