Well,

My daughter wanted to go fishing, which means I get to stand on the beach with a rod while she swims, so we went to Bongaree, the little spit just north of the jetty.

Tried out some of my new hardbody lures, worked well, just got to learn how to cast so the trebbles dont get caught in each other or the line! Stuffs up the lure action something chronic when they do!

Got a few small bites, a lot of little whiting around, and the most skilled toadfish I have ever seen.

The 100mm toad fish can take the tail of a 75mm berkley gulp in about 1/10 of a second. I amused my daughter by letting her feed the gulps to the toad fish in the guise of \"fishing\" for the toad fish around our feet.

feral- if ya trebles are hooking up on each other, they are to big. down size one or both and it will fix that problem......see anyone get any school macks off the jetty?

No, no one was catching anything off the jetty, just a few kids fishing with worms. They were not doing any good either.
