on the good news front... yes there is some...

flinders reef. spoke to a deckie on big cat dive charters, who was the first boat to go there today. it appears the damage there has been minimised due to the heavy weather experienced shortly thereafter the spill. one good thing to come out of this i spose! reef is reportedly healthy and fish and turtle life seems normal.
