I think I'll try and make my first trip a mid-week one some time in the next couple of weeks...give you guys a headstart in the search for a 60cm monster! looking forward to the reports and pics

Yeah - I'm going to leave my brass knuckles at home and go to Moreton for the weekend and leave it to the masses.. Definately into it next weekend though. Good luck! The search for the all mighty cod begins :laugh:

Dino and I will be on the dam Sunday, he"s 82 and I'm 7 so anything we can help you with just holler.

Good luck to all, tight lines and be careful of large stumps and snags in some of the reaches of the river. Use your sounders and watch the land contours as indications of the depth of water you're in.

There's a few regulations, like having to fill in catch cards for the session, fill out a log book to sign in and out. only 50 vessels allowed on the water at any time.

Been a few poking thier heads up at NPD lately, only 1 caught in the 5 years when last we used boats but I think a few might be caught this time around.

Just got an email from PRFMA they will have members at the entrance gate furthur down at the fire trail and down at the ramp to assist and controll traffic. They will hold people at the fire trail and let you down in lots of 6. Should work quite well. It will be l lot better than leaving everyone queue down near the ramp.

Please listen to what the "traffic wardens" have to say and have a bit of patience and have an enjoyable day.
