Which ebay seller do You recommend?

Hey guys.

Just starting to get some spare cash saved up and thought id give ebay a go!

Found some \"fantastic\" deals on reels, rods and line.

It alsmost seems too cheap... should i be worried??

One seller is from OZ, and another one from Hong Kong.

Who (if) do you guys recommed?? Not particularly meaning thesse two fellas...

Just a general recomendation

Braid - brand name only, 1100 yard spools from states very good value,( around $100 australian to your door is not uncommon) smaller size spools can go for almost as much as you pay here, so you gotta watch it. Dont buy no name braid off the australian Ebay sellers, especially bluewater fishing, it is thick enough to be anchor rope. Fair dinkum I sppoled up with their 30lb on a 2500 reel, did not even have enough on there to cast.

Lures - all good so far, but very little brand name stuff available, but no name seems to be good quality.

Reels - go for ball bearings in no name, can get brand name for about 1/3 to 1/2 price of australian store price, IE KnkFishing deals in Okuma, land his gear buy it now at you door for about Aus $100 for an Inspira

Therefore dont go over about $50 for no name! may as well get the name stuff.

Rods, some good stuff around - IE can get Loomis blanks and rods from the states for about 20 - 40%% of price they cost here, but there is also a lot of no name crap about as well.

rawkus, i've bought quite a lot of sarratoga brand gear from tacklemania on e-bay and so far so good i'm really happy with the rods and spinning reels i've got from them

I agree with Feral and Jeff.

Feral showed me some Ebay braid he bought at Lenthalls and what a bargain. Saving your self heaps of dollars there. And it proved itself well on plenty of barra.

Also i have good luck with the Saratoga brand name.
