Picked up 4 bass and a healthy yella this morning early before they pulled the plug and dissappeared. I was just getting warmed up to a good session when they just went off the chew. Bass are still sitting up high in the water and lures that go 6 to 10ft seem to be the winners. My neighbour was using the same shallow lures as me but just could not get a hookup. So I am taking him to wivenhoe tomorrow to change his luck. No big ones today.

All I coulkd manage was to loose the lure you gave me this morning. Snagged it in a tree when trolling in 30ft of water and when I tried to use the tackleback got the lead all tangled with my braid. Afraid I said " bother " when I had to cut the line.

Got the sh!ts and went in after that.

I lost a silent jackal, not very happy. The trouble with getting lures caught in trees its hard to get the tackleback to the lure through the tree.

Not good mate. It reckon it would be worth putting on a pair of goggles to save a silent. They are pure gold.
