queensland Change of Luck

As some of you know, I've been complaining a bit about my poor form. Well, this changed last night when I landed a 63cm lizard on the Gold Coast.

I had taken some live bait with me that I caught beforehand at Bulimba creek but had no luck so I switched to a 4inch gold powerbait which seemed to do the trick in tempting the lizard. I was pretty happy and it felt good to have a quality fish take a lure again. My faith is restored and my opinion of SPs is more positive now.

i havent had much luck with the soft plastics lately either, hopefully my form changes soon too...

Well done mate, im not surprised your faith is restored with that beast. I think you just did in a few peoples PB in one go there!

Yeah Angus, did taste good. Kids tucked into it. It's been a while for fresh fish and it's always popular at home.

I'm already thinking of my next trip out with the SPs.
