breeky creek??

Hey guys, tomorrow arvo after work im going to sneak in a couple of hours fishing, and since the pine has been producing nothing but 10cm bream toadies and diver whiting i was thinking about giving breeky creek ago since im going to be in the bowen hills area. Never fished here before and was wondering if its worth a go? just be land base what can i catch in there and is the bowen hills area good? it looks good to me, went passed there today and with the tide up it looks like a promising spot. any help would be great

We went there once during the holidays and we caught bream, flathead and cod. Flathead (legal at 42cm) and the cod (like 15cm) were on lures flicked on the newstead park side of the creek. The flathead was caught next to the big rock under the bridge. You'll see it, it is right next to the rock wall.

there are a few favourable reports from the area but i havent fished there myself
