Well, took the kids up to Baroon for day on Tuesday. It was blowing a gale up there, rotten south westerly. Still spent 4 hours chasing fish, plenty on the sounder, but not even a bite. I reckon the old wives tale that Bass dont bite when it is windy might be true, this is the second windy trip without any fish!

Was fishing with soft plastics and worms - yeah never get a bite up there on worms anyway!, but the worms were just a back up for the soft plastics. Tide was wrong to pump yabbies after work monday, so thought I would major in plastics.

yeh thats a bugger... howmany fish do you normally get per trip??

it was quite windy up at manduran dam tuesday wednesday thursday... didnt get any bass probably because of the wind or barra because the time of year... just some massive catfish that felt like barra! there was lots of surface action aswell... we were using prawns for bait... we also scored ourselves a lure
