Brisbane Fishing Online has now surpassed over a Quarter of a Million discussion posts in our community forum!! A big congratulations to all those who have contributed to the community and provided help, advice and interesting stories for us all to enjoy! The Brisbane Fishing Online team want to extend our thanks to all the members who have helped with our 250,000 community discussions and made our community such a great place to discuss about fishing in Australia.

For those who have yet joined our community its free to join and take part in our friendly discussions on fishing, boating and all things outdoors. So whatever your questions or whatever your stories, our community is there to help. If you are wondering where is best to fish in your area? or have a question about a lure or reel or just want a good old yarn, drop by the forum and you're sure to find the information you are after.

Upcoming this year are three more events held by Brisbane Fishing Online. The next event which is fast approaching is the Moreton Bay Classic, then the State of Origin Fishing Competition and lastly the Brisbane River Classic. These are shaping up to be great events and we welcome our existing members and new members alike to come along and join in these friendly fishing competitions around South-East Queensland.

Summer Classic - 1 day event

13th February 2010

Moreton Bay Classic - 2 day event

15th -16th May 2010

State of Origin fishing competition - 3 day event

30,31 July - 1 August 2010

Brisbane River Classic - 2 day event

6 -7th November 2010

Put these dates in your diary and be sure to keep an eye out on the site and in the forum for early bird registration specials to these events!

There sure is alot of information on fishing and boating in Queensland now to be found in the forum.

For the newer members, you can use the forum search function to help find relevant topics to what you might be wanting to know.
