Spanish invasion off Noosa

Original plan was to head out wide for some reefies, but not 100% on what the wind was going to do. So we Headed out of Noosa to troll liveys for spanyids.. 12 Spanish Mackeral and 1 Spottie from 18 strikes for a bag out before lunch, and left them biting!! Was a good move I reckon :woohoo:

Myself with 1 of 4 i caught, these were the average size all day

Our kill tank was getting a bit full, not a bad problem to have :laugh:

that was today Daveylad :) Once your out across the bar you can get mackeral pretty close in around laguna bay to get some experience under your belt and the headland can offer some protection from the wind if it picks up a bit. There were guys out there in tinnys today giving it rip out the front of the bar
