you try skull draging 115cm jew with 80lbs line ripping through your hands i all so fish a shimano over head with 10lbs for fun but like my father told me always keep a big line out.

well it all happened on my boat and i tell you it was such a relief this time that it wasnt a bloody big catfish or ray or something big and crap like that, but yeah took him a bit to get it to the surface and lots of extra effort to get in the boat (thank god the gaf didnt fail!) but yeah the biggest pain of all is working out the pros and cons of different fishing conditions to get these sort of fish, but one things for sure... NO WHERE BEATS NORTH QUEENSLAND FOR FISHING

Yeah boy, bowen fishing for you, this fish was caught a few hundred metres out on the sand flats (in the background) with a tiny handline on a high tide.
