SQUID Sp's

Hey,

Ive noticed there has been a huge influx of squid style sp's come out over the last six months. I was just wondering if anyone has had a crack of any, and what they think of them. I picked up a packet of berkley gulp squid not long ago and plan to give em a go this saturday night.

Also, if you have used then successfully, what'd you catch?

Yeah Ash I've had a crack at them before. Not to sure what brand as a mate gave me a few to try, they were about 2\" long and were green with black spots and looked like a small bottle squid. Also not the best SP as the pickers chewed all the tentacles off real quick...I think maybe in a bigger size say 4 or 5\" would be a great SP for jewies....

i rekon theyd be good to jig around on the small reefs

Yeah, thats what i was thinking reef raider, come july onwards i'll be hitting the redcliffe reeves abit with them. Should be good fun!
