Sports fishing/deep sea outfit

Hey guys looking for suggestions for a sports fishing/ deep sea outfit.

Am considering a 15-24kg ugly stick + shimano tyrnos.

Does this sound alright?

Would appreciate any suggestions.

Roughly what's your budget ? What size reel and are you talking the 2 speed model.

Was looking tyrnos 30 single speed. 2 speeds are too expensive for my budget.

All up looking at spending about $400-$500.

If you could fit a 2 speed into the budget I would. They make a significant difference when you get some weight on or when you need to retrieve quickly.
