I received this pic today, looks like half croc and half barra so lets call it a crocamundi:P

I think its actually called a tiger fish but i could be wrong!

This was posted here last week sometime I know you were away Brian.

I fished for them when i worked over there. Thats a bog specimen. They are more common at about a foot.

They dont attack people. Just other fish.

No joke Brian I have a modern fishing mag with an article about tiger fish being a by catch when lure fishing for nile perch (the perch grow to 400lb).....It says\"there are millions of tiger fish in lake Nasser\" even tho the lake is 6,200 square kilometres.....

The biggest angler caught perch was 275lbs........

aaron- i saw thast in the bush n beach steve was calling that fish you got a jade perch..i was sure they were barcoo grunter...i have never heard of a jade perch...is it both?:S

Jade Perch = Barcoo Grunter. Some have more spots than others but its the same fish.
