Assistant Manager / Sales

Fish Head is Australia's most progressive tackle store and we need an innovative and experienced sales person to join us as our assistant manager in our Victoria Point QLD store. We are not your normal tackle store and we don't want an ordinary sales person.

If you are someone who has:

•Retail Sales Experience

•The ability to focus on sales and the customer

•High level of knowledge of fishing and fishing tackle

•Exceptional Customer Service and Communication Skills

•Energy, Enthusiasm and Motivation

•A strong work ethic

•An outgoing personality

•A natural ability to make people feel comfortable whether they are experienced or beginners

•A sense of Adventure

•A special interest in Fly Fishing, Jigging and Popping

•The desire to further your career into management and to take on responsibility

then you should apply.

Your salary will be based on your skill level and will range between $40 - $45K per annum plus super and bonuses with annual reviews. The position is permanent full time and Saturday work is required. Fish Head is a family friendly employer and actively works with all team members to ensure work/life balance.

You will be responsible for:

•Sales

•Customer service

•Ordering of stock (with training provided)

•Achieving sales goals

•Co-coordinating sales team

•Store presentation in conjunction with owner

•Maintaining day to day running of store

•Other tasks suited to your skills

The successful person will report directly to the company owner and will be part of a team of people who are expert anglers and tackle junkies. We welcome ideas and you will have the opportunity to be part of the future direction of the business.

thats sounds like a top job dont think they will take a 16 year old seriously for the position and really should stay in school

that's retail for ya, long hours and low pay. would almost be worth it though to work in that shop with all those toys!
