Wanted barra rod

On the lookout for a barra rod. I am looking for a good secondhand rod that is strong in the but and light in the tip so I can cast plastics and hardbodies to the edges of the weed and also jig plastics in deep water. Egrel, loomis, t/curve etc etc have these rods but for a once a year trip they are a bit expensive for a pensioner. Thats why I thought I'd try on here first in case someone has such a rod they are ready to sell.

Thanks mate forgot to mention I am looking for a 7ft rod, I took my raider snapper rod up there but it was a bit stiff for casting, OK for trolling though.

Hey dino mate I just picked up a new okuma 7/12 kilo that I have been using for barra new it cost me $170 and has a nice very light tip and as strong as in the butt.It's not for sale but if you are looking for a good rod I don't think you can go past it and dosn't have the price tag of the others.

at annaconda the mojiko tournament rods are down to $39 from $100. i have a 1-2kg and 2-4kg rods and they have a great feel

those okuma 7-12kg spin rods Dassa mentioned are great, i've got one myself and am looking at picking up a slightly lighter model, 4-6kg as well, just because the wife says i have enough fishing gear!
