I contacted Villa Noosa today and reserved a table for 14. It's a Bistro style menu so there should be something for everyone.

Is there a chance you guys can confirm about what time you plan to get there and if you want a feed? THis is what I got so far for the pub and dinner.

Angus's party of 5 people

Brian D & Faulked

Loz, Glenda & the big Thready (AKA Jeff)

Gazza and Bootie

Ellicat and Chippee (we know you will be late and may not be eating)

Can anyone else confirm?

Post edited by: Brian D, at: 2007/08/23 16:43

Yea I guess we need to have somehting in our stomachs, just incase its a bit rough out.

Gazza, will pick you up about 1pm and head on up for a fish and then feed.

So Lozzel... count Gazza and Booty in for dinner.

Off the BCF website about seasickness and I thought it might be relevant

Preventing seasickness:

- Eat healthy light meals and avoid excessive alcohol for 48hrs prior to departure

There was about another dozen points it covered, but I closed the page down after reading the above bit...

I was planning to take my george forman and do some breakie, Bacon and Egg toasted sangers with cheese and BBQ sauce in my room at 5.00am.:) All welcome.

Put you order in early so I know how many to cater for?;)

Note: Do not have milky coffee before deep sea fishing. Black coffee only.

Beer is OK too.:woohoo:

Don't forget the space food sticks.:)

Will drop by for a beer but don't know what time we leave Brissy which depends on how long it takes my missus to get ready:unsure:

BOOTY, are you taking over my job. just jokin.

As you are on Boat 1 , I'll give you the boarding list to make sure everyone is present.(not sleeping it off somewhere)

It will also be a Tally sheet to list catch numbers etc.

As you being a \"copper\" , I know it will be done \"Honestly\" and be true and correct. :P

Angus will be incharge of Boat 2, so all will be \"A OK\", there.

Not long now, lets just hope Noosa is still there next week-end.

Loz, there'll be no need to keep the tally sheets - I've already typed them up and filled them in for both boats.

It appears that even if you weren't a betting man you couldn't resist putting a bit of coin on boat 2.

Booty, Mate you drink too much. The short term memory loss is a giveaway (how hard is it to remember boat 1:P )

Feral, Both the site owners are on boat 2 - if you guys win I think your bragging rights might be (should be?) curtailed:woohoo:

Whoops... Brian, sorry for treading on toes. But yea I will be first mate on Boat 1. Dont think I will have a problem with inebriated people running late though as it looks like boat 1 contains all teatotalling perfect angels!

Fitzgerald? Who is Fiztgerald? I am one of the new breed, learned all I needed while in Prison in NSW....LOL

Oh and does someone else have a brag mat on boat 1, so we can tape the 2 together to record out big catches? I will bring you my old school ruler for boat 2, as I am sure that will suffice.

As a noninvolved bye stander it looks to me as boat 1 has a severe weight penalty and will be very slow in the water and people will have to be very carefull moveing around or else it will roll over.

Booty may have to direct traffic instead of fishing.

It is too late to diet now.

Does it have a weight alarm like they have in lifts?

If it does and it goes off ( and it will) who is going to get off?

Cheers

Ray

I will be on the Saturday, but not on Friday night. (Didn't realise AFO had dinner suits:P )

As it happens, Reelchippy and I will be there a bit earlier and may now join you for the feed as well.

A couple of \"important\" games of footy may see us take shifts with the socialising though:whistle: depending on which game is telecast first.

Looking like a great week too.

Fished Sunday, thinking of another session tonight, Hinze with the school thingy Friday, Charter on Saturday, and hopefully a job around the house for fathers day Sunday.:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Just make sure your camera is fully charged so you can get plenty of snap shots of the other boat. Make sure your zoom in is working too.
