Do you find BCF to be any cheaper/expensive than say other tackle providers?

Im getting a new setup one a bit bigger than my bream rod. Any suggestions on what to get? mate of mine goes fishing out the mouth for sharks and that and he goes out past straddie so yeah i need a rod reel line combo.

I havent found bcf to be any cheaper apart from their specials some of which are frankly cr#p as Angus says support our sponsors Tackleworld who certainly look after you.

50 pounds but the thing is like kenny says \"i dont know about this stretching thing, if i do it for 5 minutes is that the world record or is 5 minutes no where near enough\" is thatr like standard bigger fish line or super duper big.

mono, what exactly is mono i know its line but....well yeah :S sorry to all you people out their slapping their foreheads as you read this now :blush:

Mono or Monofilament is the line that nearly everyone has. It's the plastic type stuff, not the cottony stuff. 50lb is pretty heavy, not crazy heavy, but is way heavier than any stuff I have, and I fish in the bay nearly every week.

BCF is cheaper on most things, but at a Specialist Tackle Store you will get way better advice.

no worries mate im happy to help out... 50lb would suit well for sharking for most sharks up to around 6-7ft maybe even 8. if you check the for sale section you will get to have a look at the size of the reel
