queensland Mud Island - Sunday 10/6... Early Start

Heading across to Mud Island early on Sunday Morning if the weather and waves all seem ok.

Will be laying up the boat for a couple of weeks after the weekend due to an operation, so thought one last hit out in soft plastics and see how I go.

Anyone else thinking of heading out, let me know and will give you a mobile number...

Well how wrong can the weather man be! Now planning on the same thing leaving Nudgee ramp at about 530am monday morning...

I was just sitting here thinking about posting a thread on the $#&#%^#ing forecasters. I've been looking at the beautiful weather out my office window all day. I went and sat in my boat for 1/2 hour before and rearranged some things out of frustration. What a waste of a day (except for getting some work done)!!!!

Ray, Have you looked out the window ? Is it flat as a tack on the bay ?

I would need to have a very tall ladder and a good pair of bino's to see the bay from here. But rain, hail or shine I will fish tomorrow!

Well, here's the data from the Cleveland weather station. Apart from an 18Kn gust at 8.46am it's been bloody beautiful by the looks of it.

It would have been a safe day on a ladder Booty, but Ray doesn't need one (The lucky bugger)

Bloody beautiful i an spewing too as i have been cleaning up and have a big pole of junk in front of boat.

But the fishing comp is on and no parking at ramp its chockas.
