hey all,

i have been looking to get into some finesse bream fishing for a while now and I finally have the money. My budget is up to around $150 but might be willing to go higher if it sounds the goods. Also id be happy to look into any second hand offers from fellow afoers. Any suggestions on rods to look for?

The usual berkley dropshot or pfleuger trion is always a safe bet. Or if you can pick up a second hand damiki angel ex they're always worth grabbing.

Shimano are just about to bring out a stack of new raider series rods that are round the 150 mark and very lure specific. I.e - a crankbait style, plastic style, popper, ect ect.

Well worth a look.

Thats a good deal with the Lox there Runty66! Can;t really go past that!

But if that doesn't work for you, try the Berkley Dropshot IM7 Tournament pro II 7", it's a sweet rod and only $139 at Tackle Warehouse. :) ... although just realised it's a 2-4KG

Also, the Camo Sticks from Austackle are sweet! IM8 blanks. But they only come in 1 piece models.
